Producers: Need a (Re) Writer?
Have a script that needs to be whipped into shape or an idea that needs to be written into a great script? As a professional screenwriter, I'm not only looking to develop my own projects, but I also enjoy working on outside projects as well. I specialize in the Thriller/Suspense genres, but enjoy compelling dramas and family-fare as well.
If you're interested in commissioning a new project or bringing me in on a rewrite of an existing project, shoot me an email, or give me a call at 757-647-9003. I also help student and beginning writers across the country by providing a variety of script coaching and script doctoring services. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for more information or questions about any of our services.
Note: depending on the size and scope of the project (i.e., any film budgeted under $1.2 mil), WGA minimum rates will apply.

The ScriptCoach Package - $899
This highly recommended package is a comprehensive plan designed to assist writers over the long haul. Included with this plan are a synopsis, a comprehensive analysis and script notes, and five one-on-one phone consultations with Kevin. This is a great value designed to give the writer support and guidance from concept to final draft. The standard package is based on a three-month schedule, a significantly longer commitment than that offered by other consultants. You might think of this long-term support as the equivalent of working with a film or television producer to develop your script to take to market. The first step is to show Kevin your project. He will then give you comprehensive analysis and feedback. You, in turn, revise your project and resubmit it. You may revise and resubmit as many times as is practical within the three-month period. Kevin will discuss your project in five 30-minute sessions. The sessions will be scheduled according to stages in the development process. Usually conversations will occur each time a new draft is submitted. The intention of this long-term support is to help you create the best possible script in a three-month time period. Once you have purchased this package, please email your first script to firstname.lastname@example.org.

$499 - $1799 (per episode depending on scale of the project; hourly rates may also apply)
As recent box office success will attest (Supersize Me - $11.5 million, March of the Penguines - $77.4 million) non-fiction cinema can tell stories that are as dramatic and entertaining as feature films. Whether the story-driven documentary will eclipse the essay-driven format is a subject for considered debate, but one thing is clear: commissioning editors from stations like HBO, the Sundance Channel and Showtime want stories. Using the principles of classic three-act narrative structure (both linear and nonlinear), as employed by professional screenwriters, Kevin can help documentary filmmakers adapt these structural demands to the randomness of real life to create top flight projects. Kevin will review your documentary script, offer notes, and work with you to ensure that from the overall story design to the addition of "booster material" (narration, location footage, reenactments, animation, etc.) your piece addresses the central question and intentions of the film. Once you have negotiated a package price and time-line for completion, please email your script to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Turnaround time: (negotiated).
Note: All orders must be pre-paid in advance by PayPal, Money Order, Cashier’s Check or Certified Banking Instrument. No credit cards or personal checks accepted. Please make your payment to: "Kevin R. Crawford" or if paying by PayPal to: email@example.com. We do not "invoice" for services. However, you will receive a PAID IN FULL receipt, once your financial instrument has cleared. Work on your project begins within 1 business day, thereafter. In some cases, "turnaround times" are re-negotiated depending on the size and scope of your project, budgeting and scheduling, or other production demands.
COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENTS:
Due to the subjective element in storytelling, coverage and analysis, we are not able to offer any type of “money-back guarantee” for services rendered, nor are we able to guarantee the “commercial viability” (i.e., sale) of any project you submit. However, Kevin is committed to working with you until you are satisfied that you have received your full money’s worth! If you should happen to have a question or concern about any level of our services, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. Kevin has helped scores of student and beginning writers across the country to realize their full potential.
